Professor Gerdes is also a dynamic lecturer who has been teaching a wide range of psychology courses to thousands of students over the past five years. Her human sexuality course is immensely popular and is always filled to the maximum with students from all majors and of all ages. Although she does not have much spare time between conducting research studies and teaching, when she does, Professor Gerdes likes to spend it with her close friends and her three German Shepherds. She is also an avid collector of wine and vintage books that deal with sexuality. |

Professor
Carolyn Gerdes did her professional studies at Rutgers University, Newark, New
Jersey under the supervision of the world renowned sexuality researchers Dr.
Beverly Whipple and Dr. Barry Komisaruk. She has published numerous articles and
book chapters in the area of human sexuality research and she is a frequent
presenter at professional meetings throughout the world.
